Belgian style sauna

In addition to an essential steam-room and a shower-room the house has a terrace with BBQ, a mini storage, parking space and an adjacent open stoop. This large variety of possibilities, when all necessary is at hand, allows enjoying the bathing and company without excitement.

The exterior colors are quiet and warm in sandy shades however the house looks elegant by virtue of white columns and a competing layout of brick around the windows.

Chalet-style house

The frame house was designed in the chalet style with regard to the limited budget for finishing works. Originally the style supposes use of natural, frequently expensive materials. We replaced them by modern surfaces imitating natural stone and wood. The exception was beams and sheathing where lacquered redwood was used.

Terraces on both floors were located in relation to the site to allow the owners to enjoy views of the yard without leaving their bedrooms and the living room.

Summer cottage with territory

The summer cottage with panoramic windows and a view of the renewed landscape became a key object of the project. With the open terrace it turned into the territory for comfortable rest in every kind of weather where one may get out of the rain or wait the noonday heat to abate not breaking the leisure outside.

The stating point of the design development became the existing supporting walls laid in the shape of a hexagon. We turned them into supports for a flower bed bench. Due to the same reason the multitiered concept was chosen. It allowed closing undesired viewpoints, making surfaces multipurpose and the space interesting and uniform.

Landscape lighting design

The concept was based on accent lighting at different heights and lamps directed on decorative elements. This way made the landscape brisk, and the space deep and intense. Diffused light achieved by this technique does not blind and provides comfortable moving around the site in the dark.

The solid fence was turned to advantage by cold-resistant bamboo, pebble and board facing with cache pots and accent lighting. Each of four recreation areas has its own accent. For example, flowerbed lamps or fairy lights on the tree with a hammock chair.

Stone patio

The composition framework became supporting walls that were technically essential due to the small slope of the site. We turned them into an exquisite art object, remained and increased greatly the functionality.

The idea of coordination of the Man and the Nature ran through the whole project. Warm light flowing from inside the podium, curls of the stone paving, a forged firepit casting fancy shadows were all the elements together with wild primitive energy inside. The choice of unalive materials: stone, paving and concrete allowed to keep the total style with the house, and ethnic patterns expressed in rounded forms and flexible lines gave an interesting contrast with its strict architecture.

Wright House

For fronts we changed the common proportions of wood and brick by raising it at the level of second floor windows. Overhang roofing was not laid on columns also but was raised above them. That method allowed to visually extend the fronts and to create an effect of the flying structure.

Column heads and moldings are expressly laconic and simply painted white. As a result the stylish combination of the light-coloured brick with painted redwood decorating the vertical lines of windows plays the center stage. The metal fencing with horizontal breaking stands as contrast.

Rustic sauna

The living room overlooks a furnace and a wood-stack. Visual contact of the zones is dictated by not only aesthetic reasons but also ease of control.

We chose the ethnic theme to set the mood of naturality that is specific for the bathhouse but we rejected the stereotyped elements. Distinctive design techniques replaced them: patchwork tiling, boards with rough edges painted in white and rattan usable furniture. Turquoise textiles and Cosmo chairs gave a fresh touch to the interior and balanced the motley combination of the Rustic and Ethnical styles.

Scandinavian summer cottage interior

Natural colors were chosen as dominating: white, gray, brown. It allowed maintaining the feeling of countryside space and harmony with the surroundings in the interior. Warm shades of coral and pink were used for bright accents in the textiles and decoration.

We painted white the ceiling molded boards to visually extend the space to slopes of the roof and also to avoid any associations with sauna interior. The walls were decorated with faux logs, parquet was laid with boards with scuff marks. These interior solutions allowed stylishly decorating the interior with minimum costs for finishing materials.

Girl’s bedroom

When creating the fairy interior of the children’s room we took care of the most important things for its four-year-old mistress. Thus, there appeared a two-stage home bed that was appropriate for joyful toy tea parties on the second floor, a nest with valance to roll about in the pillows and listen to amazing stories about heroes and princesses, a chalk board - for creativity without borders.

In whole, design was not overloaded with decorative elements to stimulate imagination – the main engine of a child. Therefore all available surroundings – from a cute floor lamp in the shape of an elephant and a cloud ceiling lamp to a butterfly turned into bookshelves - may be involved in adventures.

Children’s room with sports corner

Full project descriptionWe emphasized a sports corner for active games where one can climb, turn somersaults, swing, generally to feel oneself as a true alpinist and summiteer.

Initially, the room was planned for a little lady but colors were chosen all-in-one with regard to possible addition of the family. In this case, the upper tier where a cozy house with valance and garlands was designed, will be reequipped into the second bedding. Initially the lower bed was enough big (2×0.9 m), therefore it will serve in the future and be left to the eldest child.

Mediterranean kitchen dining-room

We used deep green color for kitchen furniture faces and materials with noble natural texture to re-create the atmosphere of a close forest thicket.

All attention was directed to the combination of forms and textures. Namely therefore there is no stucco moldings and any other decoration here – only functional copper and glass fittings and simple flowing lines of arches. Curtains were made with simple white cotton not to overload the interior and to give an easiness feel as if it was a wind strolling through the forest.

Modern bedroom with a balcony

All the space made maximum use to combine functions of a bedroom, rest area and wardrobe in the same room. As a result there appeared space not only for a sufficient number of cupboards and drawers for storage of things but also for a suspension arm-hair and stylish decorative elements.

The key accent of the interior became asymmetry of a pendant lamp and a desk lamp. Owing to this the strict style got playful charm and dynamics.

Loft living room

A majority of interior elements are multifunctional: a coffee table turns into a dining table, a bar counter serves as a bookshelf and an additional kitchen worktop, cupboads behind the screen are disguised as a decorative wall.

The room dynamics are expressed also by the rambling design geometry starting from the panel picture and steel lamps and ending with the marbled tile pattern. The mirror behind the fireplace allows to relieve the space and to extend it visually.

Eco Bedroom

African patterns were subtly woven into the up-to-date design. The atmosphere was gently and very accurately expressed by an artificial fireplace with a pebble panel picture, a mirror framed in raw wood and gradient wallpaper imitating the sunset sky. The jewel in the crown became a bed with a valance and forged curtain rod.

The room area allowed to divide the living space and wardrobe therefore there was nothing in excess in the sleeping zone. There were only warming natural materials, much light and air.

Ethnic bathroom

We used water-resistant materials imitating wood structure for the floor and wet zone. Tile with mottle patterns was chosen as an accent. The other walls were painted in solid beige color – simultaneously practical and lowest cost solution.

Limetree cabinets and a case-shelf along the bath were provided for storage. A finishing touch in creation of natural decoration became the fittings in the shape of birds and a linen-basket reminding of a beehive.

Fairy children’s room

the interior is in soothing colors, bur fascinates by cute decorations and laced elements. We symbolically related some part of those elements with the personality and interests of the owner to strengthen the sense of unique and personal character of the design. Royal blue of the handles and printing of the floor is the reference to the owner’s name – Vasilisa. A wall with full-length rough wood framed mirrors was made for dancing training.

The space is functional. The sleeping zone may be divided from the playing zone by a curtain if desired.  It also will be useful in creative process – for instance, for role-playing or a concert in the family circle.
